一、考研复试的英文自我介绍可以用中文自我介绍直接翻译过去吗？
这个问题，是对翻译有什么误解吗？
翻译，不等于不地道、尴尬，或者不通顺。如果翻译完出现那样的状况，那是译员本身的水平不够。从中文翻译成英文的自我介绍，依然是自我介绍啊。有什么需要怀疑的吗？
（学英语专业的，如果连个自我介绍都不能直接英语现场编（虽然可能需要准备一下要说的重点），那么你英语专业学给谁了？转专业学英语的话，如果不能流畅的英语表述，那么怎么能胜任之后的学习？（话虽然说的狠了点，也不是我水平多高，但是自己的基本专业素养肯定是要保证的））
但是翻译自我介绍可能需要注意几点问题吧（出于个人接触到的相关内容的感受，没有引用资源）：
- 如果不确定自己的英语水平能否胜任直接英文出口成章，翻译其实是相对来说比较稳定的折中方案，毕竟想要表达的信息不会缺失，而且错误的机率较低。
- 但是，请不要机械背诵好吗？机械地背，没有感情没有表情，就算是不懂英语的也能听出来是背的，不考虑考研的英文自我介绍的目的，英语水平（差）绝对体现到淋漓尽致。
- 你的英文水平如何，光看一个自我介绍，没有其他问题吗？（没考研不了解这部分）如果提问的语法词汇运用、表现的语言能力差，那自我介绍背得跟影帝影后似的依然没用。
- 以上的前提是有个好的英文翻译，如果真的很重要，而且自己水平不行，花点钱雇个好的，不要总求英语系的朋友，免费的没人给你好好弄。
- 想要好的英文翻译，前提是要有合理通顺，且重点明确的中文原文。我给人翻译过个人陈述，虽然跟口头的自我介绍有所不同，但是基本上都是介绍自己。这个人的个人陈述，中文本就一言难尽，基本属于语文不及格，还让我努力发挥润色。我捋逻辑捋了半天，看到的语法病句成堆。所以别说英文咋样了，中文都不地道，还想让英文好哪里去？（最终是通过我反复沟通（虽然对方还对我爱答不理），终于翻好，拿去申学校也没出问题）
最后，再次强调一下，请不要觉得翻译就一定不如原文。会再多门语言，不意味着就能翻译，或者翻译好。如果你看到了水得不能再水的译文（即使不懂原文也觉得别扭那种），请不要坚持看完，不要支持他们。正经的翻译是有自己的尊严的，如果得不到支持，没有正确的环境引导，就会有越来越多的劣质作品出现。请各位也不要再提类似觉得翻译会次于原文的问题了，好吗？
二、如何在英文演讲中做个比较加分的自我介绍呢？
讲故事，讲故事，讲故事！
总要的事情说三遍！
无论中文演讲还是外语演讲，一定学会讲故事。
单只根据你的这个时间限制，基本上几句话就能解决，但是千万不要流水账。
先做个错误示范是：
Say Hi + My name is……+I come from…… +My major is……+I was interesting in sth.……
千万别用这个模式套路，真的太boring了。
那么做一个相对正确的示范：
首先分析你的这个主要内容，也就是演讲正文的主题是什么？
假设，以最近很热的疫情防控为例子。那么就要先分析这个主题的目的是什么，希望学生在这个话题下展开哪些拓展，演讲是思维和语言表达的综合训练，所以不要光想着怎么把英语说得天花乱坠，哪些过于花哨的词汇其实用不用都两可，重点是思维训练，而且是有你自己观点、进行过自己思考的内容展现。
下一步，就是讲你自己对于这个主题的内容想清楚或者写好了之后，把自己的个人介绍揉进去。个人介绍一般在正文之前，那么就做一个引子，即介绍自己，又要把自己下面的正文思路带出来。
例如：
When I was young...../ When I was 10 years old.... 勾起回忆
My grandpa/ grandma/ somebody else had got a very bad ill…… 讲故事，引起共鸣
Because that memories helped me made a decision to study.... 结合故事说自己的专业，或者联系到现在的这个演讲题目上
这样不仅能快速把人吸引过来，而且有代入感，听起来也更有意思。
